Glue sniffing is a widespread phenomenon among street children in many developing countries, including Bangladesh. It involves inhaling volatile solvents, such as glue, paint thinner, or gasoline, to achieve a psychoactive effect. Glue sniffing exposes children to various health and social hazards, such as respiratory problems, brain damage, addiction, violence, and stigma. This study aims to investigate the socioeconomic factors that influence glue sniffing among street children in Chittagong, the second-largest city in Bangladesh, and to explore its impacts on their lives and wellbeing. The study finds that glue sniffing is mainly driven by poverty, family breakdown, peer pressure, and lack of education and opportunities. The study also reveals that glue sniffing negatively impacts the children’s physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing and social relationships and prospects. The study recommends that effective interventions address the root causes of glue sniffing and provide comprehensive support and rehabilitation for the affected children. The study also suggests that further research is needed to understand the dynamics and diversity of glue sniffing among street children in different contexts and settings

The principal aim of tracer study is to examine the process of transition from graduate to higher studies, to highlight the graduate course based on employment and works, such as job position, income, security, and type of work. To evaluate their views based on their experiences and views of the graduate course’ curriculum, including resources and facilities. The participants of the study were fifty-eight registered nurses graduated with a degree of Master of Arts in Nursing. A descriptive quantitative research design was used while percentage and frequency were applied in analyzing the data. Findings reveal high rating for the contribution of graduate program for their professional growth in terms of academic professions, research capability, communication skills, meeting present and future professional needs, exposure to local and international community within field of specialization, critical thinking, salary improvement and personality development. In terms of how much the study matters to their vocation, out-of-class exercises, high importance accorded to research, multidisciplinary studying, pedagogy, academic environment, qualitative resources, know-how of the professor, field of study, and size of class received highly high ratings only except for lab and library rated as poor.

This paper presents an analytical study of the characteristics of participants in a health study that aimed tounderstand the relationship between several demographic and health factors. Data were collected on gender, age, and health conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, history of stroke, smoking, and chest infections. Acomprehensive analytical methodology was used that included distributing participants based on thesefactors, where the results showed a difference in gender (61.8% males and 38.2% females) and aconcentration in older age groups. Logistic regression analysis was also applied to identify factors influencingthe likelihood of developing certain health conditions, which revealed negative effects for chest infections, smoking, blood pressure, and diabetes, while gender (male) had a positive effect. The paper highlights theimportance of understanding these complex relationships, calling for further research to examine the effectsof these factors on public health.

External cephalic version (ECV) is a critical obstetric intervention aimed at repositioning breech or transverse-presenting fetuses to a cephalic position, thereby reducing the likelihood of cesarean deliveries and associated complications. This review explores key dimensions of ECV, including ethical and psychological considerations, clinical recommendations, and future directions. Ethical concerns centre on informed consent and shared decision-making, emphasizing the importance of transparent communication and patient autonomy. The psychological impact, particularly maternal anxiety and its influence on procedural outcomes, highlights the need for empathetic patient care and psychological support. Clinical recommendations underscore the significance of evidence-based practices, including the use of ultrasound guidance, effective pain management, and careful patient selection to maximize procedural safety and success rates. A multidisciplinary approach involving obstetricians, midwives, ultrasonographers, and anesthesiologists is essential for delivering comprehensive care. Barriers to ECV, such as provider knowledge gaps, patient acceptance, and resource constraints, particularly in low-resource settings, necessitate targeted interventions to improve accessibility and uptake. Emerging trends in ECV, including technological advancements like improved imaging techniques and the exploration of non-invasive alternatives, show promise for enhancing procedural efficacy and patient acceptance. However, gaps in research remain, particularly concerning the long-term psychological outcomes of ECV and the role of cultural factors in shaping patient attitudes. Addressing disparities in access to ECV through mobile health units, community-based training, and innovative solutions is critical for ensuring equitable care. ECV is a valuable procedure with the potential to improve maternal and fetal outcomes, but it requires a patient-centred, multidisciplinary approach. Future research and innovation should focus on addressing barriers, leveraging technology, and promoting equitable access. By advancing clinical practice and integrating ethical and psychological considerations, ECV can continue to evolve as a safe, effective, and widely accessible intervention for managing malpresentation.
