Objectives: The objective of the study was to discuss the design method of medical image three-dimensional (3D) visualization system based on magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) data; Methods: Using 3D visualization of the carotid artery as an example, the three-position reconstruction algorithm on the basis of volume rendering was discussed, moreover, if 3D carotid artery is extracted, based on this, we could combine Visualization Toolkit and Image Segmentation and Registration Toolkit with it to construct a 3D visualization system of medical images based on MRA data using C++; Results: The 3D visualization system of medical image data can be read on the MRA based on Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine images and can be displayed completely, at the same time, a series of interactive operations can be carried out on the 3D image, and three-position blood vessel segmentation and enhancement on the basis of volume rendering can be realized; Conclusions: The medical image 3D visualization system based on MRA data can read and display 3D images and can realize a series of interactive operations, which can achieve better blood vessel enhancement effect and carotid artery extraction, it has important function and significance for a three-bit visualization of medical image.

Objectives: The objective of this study is to explore the relationship between college students’ emotion management ability and mental health; Methods: A total of 1000 college students from four universities in our city were selected as the object of the study, the emotion management ability of 1000 college students was analyzed by means of questionnaire, and the mental health status of college students was measured with symptom checklist (SCL)-90, the average scores of the five dimensions of college students’ emotional management ability are classified as follows: controlling negative vent > rational regulation > seeking outside support > controlling negative suggestion > positive remedy; Results: The results showed that there were obvious negative correlations between the three factors and the SCL-90 factors, such as the rational control of college students, the control of negative implications, and the control of negative venting, however, there is only a negative correlation between college students’ seeking outside help and interpersonal, paranoid, psychotic, and depressive factors, positive remedies were negatively correlated with the symptoms of compulsion, psychosis, and depressive factors, while positive remedies and paranoia factor and hostile factor are obviously related; Conclusions: In the investigation of college students’ emotional management ability, the five dimensions are closely related to their mental health status, therefore, we should pay attention to the cultivation of college students’ emotional ability and encourage them to participate in some meaningful activities to improve their mental health.

Psoas abscess has been classified into two types, namely the primary abscess, which presents with infection limited to the psoas muscle itself and is mostly pyogenic, and the secondary abscess, in which associated intra‑abdominal or skeletal conditions are present; Staphylococcus aureus is the most common causative organism in primary cases, while secondary cases are mostly associated with adjacent tissue infection, tuberculosis of the spine, or intra‑abdominal pathologies, with lumbar spine tuberculosis—due to its close anatomical association with the psoas muscle—being involved in 75%–83% of cases, and bilateral cases of psoas abscess being uncommon in the context of tubercular spinal disease.

Objectives: The objective is to discuss the effects of whey protein on the aerobic exercise ability of football players. Methods: A total of 36 college football players were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 18 in the control group given pure water for athletes and 18 in the observation group given whey protein as an athlete’s supplementary ability; both groups underwent 8 weeks of physical training with additional energy intake within 1 h before and after training, and physical fitness tests and blood biochemical indices were observed and recorded. Results: Compared with the control group, the erythrocyte function of the observation group was more significant, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05), while the results of physical fitness tests in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). Conclusions: The application of whey protein to soccer players can strengthen the protection of erythrocyte function and has certain application value.

DOI: 10.4103/MTSM.MTSM_22_19

Objectives: The objective of this study is to explore the effect of rehabilitation training combined with psychological nursing on the daily life ability of patients with craniocerebral injury. Methods: Forty‑eight patients with craniocerebral injury from August 2015 to April 2017 were selected as the study participants, and they were randomly divided into control group and observation group. Twenty‑four cases in the control group were treated with routine care, and 24 cases in the observation group were treated with psychological nursing and rehabilitation training. The exercise function, daily activity ability, and satisfaction degree of the two groups were analyzed. Results: Compared with the observation group, the recovery of exercise ability was lower in the control group than that in the observation group, and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group, the recovery of daily living activity of patients in the observation group was more remarkable, and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.05). The patients’ satisfaction in the control group was significantly lower than that in the observation group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusions: The application of rehabilitation training and psychological nursing in clinical nursing of patients with craniocerebral injury can speed up the recovery function of patients.

DOI: 10.4103/MTSM.MTSM_24_19

Context:
The effect of bromfenac on tear production of 100 healthy participants aged 16–35 (mean age 23.65 ± 4.38 years) was studied using Schirmer’s test.Aim:
This study, therefore, is primarily geared toward finding out whether the observed positive effect of bromfenac on the management of dry eye is only as a result of its anti-inflammatory effect on the ocular surface.Settings and Design:
The pretest, posttest method of experimental design was used and the posttest was at 30-min interval. The tear production was evaluated before and after the administration of 0.09% of bromfenac.

Materials and Methods:
Participants were first screened of any systemic or ocular problems. The tear production of the participants’ right eye (OD) was measured before the topical administration of bromfenac. A drop of bromfenac was administered, and the tear production of the same OD was measured at 30, 60, and 90 min later and recorded.

Glue sniffing is a widespread phenomenon among street children in many developing countries, including Bangladesh. It involves inhaling volatile solvents, such as glue, paint thinner, or gasoline, to achieve a psychoactive effect. Glue sniffing exposes children to various health and social hazards, such as respiratory problems, brain damage, addiction, violence, and stigma. This study aims to investigate the socioeconomic factors that influence glue sniffing among street children in Chittagong, the second-largest city in Bangladesh, and to explore its impacts on their lives and wellbeing. The study finds that glue sniffing is mainly driven by poverty, family breakdown, peer pressure, and lack of education and opportunities. The study also reveals that glue sniffing negatively impacts the children’s physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing and social relationships and prospects. The study recommends that effective interventions address the root causes of glue sniffing and provide comprehensive support and rehabilitation for the affected children. The study also suggests that further research is needed to understand the dynamics and diversity of glue sniffing among street children in different contexts and settings
